The Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA) estimates that the tourism sector will create 1.5 million direct and indirect jobs for Saudis by 2020.
The SCTA statistics show that by 2014 there will be an expected 21 multinational hotels operating in different parts of the Kingdom. This will lead to the initial employment of 15,000 Saudi job seekers.
The commission is working to create jobs for male and female Saudi youth with a number of projects, including the National Projects for the Development of Human Tourism Resources, The Saudi Gazette reported Saturday.
